The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7-inch Tablet PC with Android OS 3.2 “Honeycomb” was presented officially at the CES 2012 event. It’s one of the most popular items listed in the CES 2012: New Tablets, eReaders and Convertible Tablet-Notebooks.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a 4G LTE android tablet PC that comes with Verizon’s contract. This is an additional option for consumers.
After the first Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″ model, manufacturers thought it was the ideal size so more 7-inch tablets were released such as the Pandigital R70K100 7″ Android Tablet and more.
Then Samsung released the Galaxy Tab 7 Plus and Galaxy Tab 8.9 models. Then a larger Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1″ Android Tablet PC model was even released.
At CES 2012, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 was announced as a new choice for tablet PC users. It boasts its Super AMOLED Plus display with 4-way rotation. It is a superslim model that is only 7.89mm or 0.31-inch.
So far, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Android Tablet PC will be released as a 4G LTE device that comes with Verizon’s data plan. Hopefully, a cheaper WiFi-only model of this 7.7-inch tab will also be available later this year.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is currently showcased at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show Samsung booth. The full technical specifications are available at Samsung’s official site.
