Evigroup SmartPaddle Windows 7 Tablet PC Review: High Price is a Letdown
The French are famous for selling luxury brand items like Louis Vuitton and Gucci products. My sister, Grace, in Luxembourg bought a $450 Louis Vuitton scarf last year and it me cry. How could she be so gullible in buying such a super-overpriced glorified face-wipe! Anyway, another French company is provoking a little sense of outrage from me. Evigroup’s SmartPaddle Windows 7 tablet PC is selling for 1,290 Euros or around US$1,825! This price point is so steep and I don’t think many people can afford it unlike the Viewsonic G-Tablet 10 (sold for only $299.99).
If you can afford to buy a $1,000 Louis Vuitton wallet, then you should complement with this french luxury tablet computer fro Evigroup!
I’m sure you will all agree with me that Evigroup is selling watered cattle here. Their SmartPaddle tablet is obviously overpriced considering its specs. It only has an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 capacitive display, a single-core 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD, 3G, GPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB ports, HDMI port and pre-installed 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium.
Maybe the high price comes from the free bundled wireless keyboard, docking station and leather case. I believe it must be the leather case – it’s Louis Vuitton? Darn it, it must be the leather case. I just don’t see why Evigroup is charging $1,825 for this tablet which is a far cry from the price of HTC Flyer 7-inch Android OS 2.3 Tablet. Oh I’m sorry, maybe the SmartPaddle’s casing is soaked in Givenchy perfume!
