Cellular South Sells Motorola Xoom Tablet PC Wi-Fi 32GB: US$599.99 With Free Novatel MiFi
Good news to those who are subscribers of Cellular South, their carrier has also gotten distribution rights from Motorola to sell the Motorola Xoom Tablet PC Wi-Fi 32GB version. Starting April 1, interested buyers can already buy this smart tablet PC powered by Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS from any Cellular South retail stores and order it online from their website.
Cellular South customers who might want to buy the Android 3.0 Honeycomb-powered Motorola Xoom Tablet PC should be happy to learn they can buy it now from their carrier.
Cellular South is offering the Motorola Xoom WiFi for $599.99 on a two-year service contract agreement. Their deal calls for you to either sign for a monthly $39.99 or $59.99 data plan. I know, it’s quite an expensive deal but Cellular South is trying to sweeten the deal with a free Novatel MiFi 2200 mobile router.
I don’t know about you but I really don’t advise you to sign up on this deal. Cellular South should have offered a much lower locked-in price for the Motorola Xoom WiFi 32GB tablet model. Even Apple is selling the unlocked iPad 2 32GB WiFi for only $599.99! How are they going to attract buyers when they are obviously trying to gouge customers with a huge initial cash-out with a two-year data plan to boot?
Anyway, here’s the specs sheet list for Cellular South’s Motorola Xoom WiFi 32GB model. Buy at your own risk. I know these features are impressive and you will be seriously tempted but consider the huge asking price and the heavy data plan of $59.99 for a mere 5GB/month allowance.
