ViewSonic Moviebooks: ViewSonic VPD550T, VPD513T and VPD422T Moviebook Debut at CES 2010
The Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in Las Vegas gave way for the debut of three new ViewSonic moviebooks. Moviebooks are actually portable media players or personal media viewers. ViewSonic called these new generation of media players as moviebooks but these products don’t just play movies but have other features as well. ViewSonic Moviebooks such as the ViewSonic VPD550T, VPD513T and VPD422T also have music players and image viewers.

Viewsonic VPD550T Moviebook with Touchscreen
The ViewSonic VPD550T Moviebook is a 5-inch portable media player with touch-sensitive screen. It is the first touchscreen moviebook by ViewSonic with a 5-inch screen and resolution of 800×480 that gives a Full HD 1080p output. The ViewSonic VPD550T Moviebook has an internal memory of 8GB and a Micro SD slot.

ViewSonic VPD550T Moviebook release date is still uncertain. Its release is projected within the first quarter of 2010. It may come out in the market simultaneous with the Viewsonic VPD513T and VPD422T Moviebooks that were also presented at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES 2010).
