HP TouchPad 9.7″ Tablet PC with webOS Introduced by Hewlett-Packard
The HP TouchPad, a new 9.7-inch tablet PC featuring the webOS was introduced by Hewlett Packard. It is the first HP slate to use the webOS after HP acquired Palm. One of the nice features of the HP TouchPad is its support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 that lacks in the Apple iPad.

HP TouchPad with WebOS introduced on February 9, 2011 through a press conference held by HP in San Francisco, California. The HP webOS TouchPad 9.7″ Tablet PC was presented by on Jon Rubinstein, Senior VP of HP. Its debut was simultaneous with two new HP webOS smartphones – the HP Veer and HP Pre 3 (a better model than the Palm Pre 2 phone).
According to the HP’s press release, the HP TouchPad release date and price is still tentative. However, HP did say that the webOS TouchPad will be available this summer 2011.
