Lenovo IdeaPad A1 7″ Android OS 2.3 Tablet PC Release Date and Price

The Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet A1 with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS is Lenovo’s entry-level entertainment tablet. It will cheaper than their ultimate entertainment tablet, the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 10.1-inch Android OS 3.0 Tablet PC.

Lenovo IdeaPad A1 Tablet PC release date is due in October 2011 (no official release date yet). It will be sold at a starting price of $199 as announced at IFA. It’s a bit more expensive than the Arnova 7 Android OS 2.2 Tablet PC, a fellow 7-inch tablet with 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 microprocessor.

At present, the Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet A1 was removed from the official Lenovo tablet options and its official webpage is blank. Lenovo must be rethinking the IdeaPad A1 tablet’s design, features and technical specs. Hopefully, it will be better than the Cheap Coby Kyros MID7024 and HeroTab C8, other 7-inch Android tablet models.
