WOW.. You’re completely out of your mind. I own night vision optics for my rifle and I own a gen 2 monocular. These are far worse than my Gen 1 scope. They are made by JAKK’s Pacific, the makers of the “Eyeclops” TOY!

Infinty Ward wanted something flashy they got it, but these are NOT comparable to any retail Night Vision optics.. Instead of spending 80 bucks on a pair of crappy goggles, hit ebay and buy yourself a Sony Nightshot HandyCam and watch as it gives zoom and record functions for something no bulkier than the goggles offered with this set.

I do hate on these goggles because they are simply toys, and becasue people sing praises to them when the operational distance is 50′.. HOW IS THAT COMPARABLE TO GEN 2!!!???

    You’re totally off your rocker

I own Gen1+ Riflescope and Gen1+ monocular and I can tell you that the MW2 Nightvison is hugely better. It performs like Gen2. I’m in the military and I know how Gen 2 and higher performs. I’m surprised these so-called ‘toy’s are released. It could be a poor man’s goggles that a terrorist can use in the field. For $140 new!! All you need to do to make them field ready is to use camo cloth tape that repels moisture and provides some additional strength.

The goggles have to be Gen 1 or substandard toys. when i was in Afghanistan i had Gen 4 monocular, so only my dominant eye had night vision, that left my other eye to adjust quickly to brightness. So i WILL hit on the goggle quality, not to mention you can see other infrared signatures through night vision optics. If you think the goggles are top quality and great, good on ya! But keep your f*ckin opinion to yourself SGT (Totally Fake gamer Sergeant) Freeman

I have been to several Game Stops and they no longer have the Modern Warfare 2 (MW 2) Night Vision Goggles for sale for reservation. Does anyone know where I could possibly purchase this package of MW2 with the night vision goggles elsewhere? HELP!!! Thanks!

    • do u really care says:

i had the same problem on modern warfare 2 night vision goggles, but im in canada and the game stops around here only had 2 copys per store to begin with so they have obviously been sold out for time. if you’re still looking i just ordered a copy off of amazon, gonna cost an extra $30 though for shipping

  6. lilsmoker says:

LOL. They would have to be gen 1 goggles. If they are any better than first generation for this price, then our government should shut them down for putting our troops overseas in danger for offering these at a cheap price to our enemy! I can see it now, 25,000 modern warfare 2 prestige edition pre orders in Baghdad!!!!!!

  7. SGT Freeman says:

first of all im tired of all the haters out there putting down the nvg’s before they’ve tried them and pretty much writing down there perceptions as a review of the product. for instance some people are pissy about the fact that there made out of plastic this is the 21’st century look around everything uses plastics, and beyond that the nvg’s look like they have a multi polymer plastic casing most likely ABS plastic used in alot of military equipment it is very durable and cost effective. Next the goggles are a little bulky hinting around that they might be gen1 goggles i doubt infinity ward would put there name on a crappy toy. and then we have the infrared lights all night vision utilizes this they pick up on infrared light spectrum light we cant see walah you can see in the dark. so all of the misinformed haters should shut there mouths any night vision you can get your hands on that are below $1000 and still function is a good deal so shut your mouths.
