After Guitar Hero 5′s release, many were also searching for Guitar Hero 5 hyperspeed cheat. Well, the Guitar Hero 5 hyperspeed is no longer a cheat but is now an integrated features of the game.
The hyperspeed is available in Guitar Hero 5′s options menu. To activate the Guitar Hero 5 Hyperspeed, follow these instructions:
Go to Quickplay, select “Options,” then “Extras” and you can toggle Hyperspeed on there.

Aside from Guitar Hero 5 hyperspeed cheat (which is a cheat no longer), here are other Guitar Hero 5 cheats and cheat codes that gamers may utilize to optimize their game.
• Unlock All Characters: Press Blue (2), Green (2), Red, Green, Red, Yellow.
• Invisible Characters: Press Green, Red, Yellow (3), Blue (2), Green.
• Contest Winner 1: Press Green (2), Red (2), Yellow, Red, Yellow, Blue.
• Air Instruments: Press Red (2), Blue, Yellow, Green (3), Yellow.
• All HOPOs: Press Green (2), Blue, Green (3), Yellow, Green.
• Focus Mode: Press Yellow, Green, Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Green (2).
• Performance Mode: Press Yellow (2), Blue, Red, Blue, Green, Red (2).
• HUD Free Mode: Press Green, Red, Green (2), Yellow, Green (3).
• Always Slide: Press Green (2), Red (2), Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Blue. This mode turns all guitar notes (not chords) into touch pad sliding notes connected by purple lines. It has no effect online. Note: This code prevents achievements from being earned.
• Auto Kick: Press Yellow, Green, Red, Blue (4), Red. This mode automatically plays the bass pedal for the drummer. It has no effect online. Note: This code prevents achievements from being earned.
On Guitar Hero 5′s menu, go to “Options”, select “Cheats”, then “Enter New Cheat”. Enter one of the codes of the Guitar Hero 5 cheat that you wanted to unlock. Then a confirmation of the Guitar Hero 5 cheat will appear if the cheat codes were executed properly.

I have a ps2 and do not find “extras” under the options menu in order to activate the hyperspeed in guitar hero 5. How do I achieve hyperspeed? Thanks.
