The title literally meant “Professor Layton and the Devil’s Box” that is also known in Europe as “Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box”. This video games is developed and published by Level-5 mainly for the Nintendo DS gaming console.

Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box is the second game for the Professor Layton Series of Nintendo DS video game. It is not like other MMORPGs because it is of the different game genre. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box is played by solving puzzles. It offers as much as 150 brainteasers. Professor Layton is an investigator and this game is focused on finding clues about a box that kills anyone who opens it. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box is played in a single player mode.
