Philippine-based Cherry Mobile announced via their official Facebook page that they are now selling their latest Eclipse 2 Windows Mobile 6.5 phone for only 9,990 pesos (~US$225)! It’s the new version of their popular Eclipse Windows Mobile 6.5 OS handset that still sells for the same price of 9,990 pesos on retail. The Cherry Mobile Eclipse 2 offers the same features of its predecessor except for some minor changes.

The latest mobile operating system, Windows 6.5 Mobile, is designed to support phones such as the new HTC Touch Pro 2 and HTC Touch Diamond 2. According to Microsoft, Windows Mobile 6.5 will increase its range of supported phones later this year. This will include mobile phones made by their partner sites.
