Twitter Debuts Location Sharing Feature Like Using a GPS Device

April 15, 2010 · Filed Under Twitter · Comment

Twitter unveiled recently its latest innovation, the Tweet With Your Location feature. This option is disabled by default because Twitter wants its customers to have the control over this location-sharing facet. Please take note that the location information you share will be an exact GPS location (latitude and longitude), which is sent from your browser or internet-enabled device. Twitter will show location information once you enabled this feature and allowed your browser or device to transmit your coordinates.
