PS3 Update 2.70: Sony PS3 2.70 Firmware Update

PS3 Update 2.70 is Sony’s latest firmware update to PS3. Sony once again announced the PS3 2.70 update which will allow PlayStation 3 users to Text Chat each other – the firmware’s latest networking feature and a catchy one, if we may add. Although this upgrade is not yet available (as of this writing), its official release will be made known to the public by its creators, according to the announcement they posted on their website.
