Amazon Kindle Promo Price and Nook 3G Ebook Reader Cheap Deals: $189 and $149
The e-reader market just got a big jolt right on the eve of Apple’s release of its free iPhone iOS 4 Firmware upgrade. First, Barnes & Noble reduced the asking price for their Nook 3G e-reader to just $199 and also announced the launch of the cheaper Nook WiFi version. This new Nook WiFi-only model will retail for just $149.00 and is now available for pre-order with delivery time next week. Amazon responded with the same price-reduction act and also announced that their Kindle 6-Inch Ebook Reader will now only sell for under $190. Note that the Kindle is now $ 10 cheaper and it has native Wifi and 3G support which makes it a better buy than the Nook 3G, unless of course, Barnes & Noble makes another price-cut for it to get to the same $189 price point.
