Verizon announced the Motorola Droid X release date and price some time ago via the special event conducted by Verizon and Motorola. This event served as the official unveiling of Verizon’s next Android super phone, the Motorola Droid X. Even though I didn’t get invited to it, I’m happy to have an inside man in there who told me that the official Verizon Motorola Droid X release date is on July 15, 2010. Beginning on the said date, buyers may avail of this update to the original Droid DOES android phone at www.verizonwireless.com and in all Verizon Wireless retail stores. The asking price for the Motorola Droid X is $199.99, that’s after a $100 mail-rebate, and this deal requires a new two-year service agreement with Verizon. Verizon has updated its Droid X teaser page as soon as the event was over. It now gives the best features of the Droid X and has the final release date and price on it now.

Droid Update 2.0.1 is a mandatory system update for the Motorola Droid Phone also known as Droid Does phone which was released through Verizon Wireless. This over the air Droid update 2.0.1 was scheduled for this December 2009. Droid update 2.0.1 is a necessary upgrade to appreciate some of the phone’s features better. This 2.0.1 update in Motorola Droid’s software or operating system will improve android cell phone/mobile phone‘s camera and in-call audio.
