Microsoft Releases Developer Tool to Port iOS Apps to Windows Phone 7 Platform

After almost 6 months since Windows Phone 7 handsets were released, the Windows Phone 7 MarketPlace still only has 10,000 apps which are nothing compared to the more than 200,000 Android apps and 300,000 apps at iTunes. Judge Dismisses WGA Lawsuit vs Microsoft Corporation

The WGA lawsuit was filed last 2006 and after more than 3 years of litigation, Microsoft and the complainants have settled their issues and both agreed the lawsuit should no longer proceed. U.S. District Court Judge Richard Jones dismissed the case after Microsoft and the complainants requested the case be withdrawn because they have come to a mutually-satisfactory agreement. This event means Microsoft is no longer under threat of paying hundreds of millions of dollars in potential penalty.

During the Mobile World Congress debut of Windows Phone 7 Series OS, Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer hinted that Windows Phone 7 Series mobile phones relies heavily on Microsoft Silverlight runtime. Windows Phone 7 Series OS Will Not Support Multi-Tasking and External Memory Cards
