Lenovo Ideapad S10 Prices, Features and Full Specifications

The Lenovo Y410 and Lenovo G410 prices, full technical specs and features are already great. I already purchased a Lenovo G410 but what caught my eyes as of late is the new netbook Lenovo IdeaPad S10. The price in the US is under $400 and prices in the Philippine range between PhP 23,000-24,000. With a 10-inch TFT screen, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 is a netbook designed to for students and frequent travelers. Unfortunately, reviews of this Lenovo Ideapad S10 netbook show that the battery life is short and this one thing Lenovo Ideapad users don’t find good.

How to Enable Wi-fi in Lenovo G410 Laptop/Notebook

An email from a reader asked “How do I enable wi-fi in Lenovo G410 laptop/notebook?”. Well, in response to that email follow the simple instructions given below. First you should be using Windows Vista (whatever edition). I suppose the Lenovo G410 laptop/notebook you purchased is installed with Windows Vista. Mine was installed with Windows Vista Ultimate. I installed Ubuntu Linux in my Lenovo G410 laptop as the second operating system and it worked well. The wi-fi in the Linux Ubuntu distro worked properly, too. Of course Linux is very flexible in detecting devices. It’s Linux’s strength.

I have stated in my past article “Lenovo G410 Notebook/Laptop Computer: Full Specifications and Features” that I was also eying on getting a Lenovo Y410 Notebook/Laptop, a notebook with more features and powerful specs. In my next post, I will discuss the difference between the Lenovo Y410 and Lenovo G410 laptops because a friend already got himself the former.

Prices of the Lenovo Y410 notebook/laptop in the Philippines range between PhP 48K-52K (around $1,000-1,200 in the US, Europe and other parts of the world) depending on the location and add-ons (freebies) plus software packages. Usually, a buyer can request for softwares to be installed but the seller usually asks fro a small charge for the installation. In the case of Lenovo G410, the prices range between Php30,500-33,000.

Lenovo G410 Series | Lenovo G410 Notebook/Laptop Specifications and Photos

This is a follow-up to my previous article “Lenovo G410 Notebook/Laptop Computer: Full Specifications and Features“. This time, however, I have included some of the photos of the different parts of Lenovo G410 notebook/laptop. As stated in that post, the Lenovo G410 Notebook packs some great features at very affordable prices compared to other laptop/notebook computers in its class. The Lenovo G410 specifications are great, actually. After playing with it for almost four days now, I have not encountered any serious problem (as of this writing) even if other people have expressed their problems with the Lenovo G410 notebook/laptop in forums.

The specs of the Lenovo G410 laptop/notebook computer are great. I just got my new Lenovo G410 laptop three days ago which prohibited me from blogging and going online. I had to explore the Lenovo notebook computer for features and inspect the items if there are defects - an advice I could give to buyers of new personal computers, be it desktop PC or laptop PC. This advice holds true to any item you buy, in general. Inspect them carefully right from the store then do a more thorough inspection at home.
