But with reports on Facebook virus infection coming from friends in the network, we have observed that Facebook accounts with few friends (we do not exactly know how few, if you will ask us) are usually infected by Facebook virus also known as Koobface Facebook Worm virus. Vicious Facebook Virus on the Loose! Are you a Facebook user? If yes, then beware of the vicious Facebook virus that attacks users relentlessly by disguising itself as an “invitation” to Facebook users to click on links leading to a Youtube-like website. Sounds like the “Invitation Virus“, doesn’t it?

On a personal note, this is expected because even in other social networks like Friendster and Myspace, malicious viruses and spams have been reported to attack unsuspecting users. I’m not just sure if the new social network Ziggs will encounter the same fate at the hands of spammers and malware creators. Maybe in the near future. :-)
