Sony Laptop Batteries Cause Overheating of Laptops

A few days ago, Sony recalled their laptop batteries from resellers and stores in the US. More than 100,000 2.15Ah Lithium-ion cells have been recalled from store shelves because recent studies proved that these batteries cause laptop overheating. Last year, Acer was in Sony’ position now where more than 27,000 batteries have been recalled because they can short-circuit and can burst into flames. This time, Sony is taking the heat because of this battery recall.
