Yellowsnow: Free iPhone 3g Unlocking Software Codes Stolen

January 5, 2009 · Filed Under iPhone 3G Updates/News · Comment

Yellowsnow or Yellowsn0w (zero, not an “o”) is a free iPhone 3G Unlocking software that is distributed by the iPhone Dev team to the public. I will emphasize here that Yellowsnow is a free iPhone 3G unlocking tool or utility (current version is 0.9.5 Beta).

However, due to the popularity of iPhone 3G, especially in the US and Europe, the iPhone D team warned the public of a certain Jody Sanders from the UK is selling the codes of the free iPhone 3G unlocking software (i.e., Yellowsnow) that is downloadable from the iPhone Dev website and is free of charge. This deed by “Jody Sanders” is definitely a scam claiming the codes of the iPhone 3g unlocking software as his own and making money out of it (instead of giving away the codes for free).

The youtube video dealing with this subject is presented herein for better understanding of this subject involving the iPhone 3G unlocking software codes stolen by the person named above.

The public is hereby advised not to purchase anything from “Jody Sanders” or from his website.

September 29, 2008 · Filed Under iPhone 3G Updates/News · Comment

Globe Telecom offers prepaid kits/plans for the iPhone 3G, not just postpaid iPhone 3G plans in the Philippines. This gives possible subscribers more choices. Business-wise, this is Globe’s way of making iPhone 3G more saleable in the Philippines because many Pinoy cell phone addicts are already complaining about the high prices of Globe-powered iPhone 3G in the Philippines. The sad thing is, there is a 2-year lock-in period for all the iPhone 3G plans of Globe (prepaid and post-paid).

September 10, 2008 · Filed Under iPod · 3 Comments

Photo of the New iPod Touch: Specifications and FeaturesApple is on a roll with its new products like the New iPod Nano-Chromatic (8Gb and 16Gb), iPhone 3G and now, the iPod Touch. Specifications and features of these gadgets are really fantastic but not perfect. They have flaws too like the iPhone 3G’s vulnerability, among others. I just wish all of these gadgets are already available in the Philippines so I can avoid placing orders on Ebay for a New iPod Touch. The prices of New iPod Touch starts at $299. In the Philippines, that would cost around Php 13,200 minimum. But when it hits the stores in the Philippines, I suspect they would cost between Php 15000-20000.

For the technical specs of the New iPod Touch, here are they:

Size and weight

Height:
4.3 inches (110 mm)
Width:
2.4 inches (61.8 mm)

The 2008 Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony Was Truly a Hit

August 25, 2008 · Filed Under Gadgets · Comment

The 2008 Beijing Olympics closing ceremony was truly a day of celebration for China. According to reports, a spectacular closing ceremony opened with torrents of fireworks (photo on the left during the closing ceremony) and included a pulsating show-within-a-show by London, host of the 2012 Games. Overall, the 2008 Beijing Olympics was success and the closing ceremony showcased stars like Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page who played classic rock hit “Whole Lotta Love” and soccer icon David Beckham. If I attended the 2008 Beijing Olympics closing ceremony, I would have captured the event using an iPhone 3G or a high-quality cell phone, not a knockoff cell phone like N99i although N99i is made in China.
