HTC Legend Review: Price of this Tough Android Phone (OS 2.1 Eclair) is Worth it

July 4, 2010 · Filed Under Cell Phones/Mobile Phones · 1 Comment

Here’s our HTC Legend Hands-on Review: First off, the HTC Legend was the first Android 2.1 handset from HTC Corporation. It got launched way back in March. The Legend is actually another flavor of the HTC Hero model but only thinner. This phone impressed a lot of geeks not for its beauty but for its toughness. The aluminum unibody construction proved to be sturdy enough to survive repeated banging on the wall. This reputation for toughness has made the HTC Legend still a bit pricey even though HTC has already released newer or cheaper models like HTC Wildfire and HTC Desire. However, if you are looking for a reliable mobile phone with proven ruggedness, we recommend you buy HTC Legend. Amazon.com is selling unlocked HTC Legend androids for as low as $495.00. Despite this, in our collective review here for Value For Money: it’s worth it!
