BMW Recall 2010: Voluntary Recall on Select BMW and Rolls-Royce V8 and V-12 Powered Models
The BMW Recall 2010 was announced on September 30, 2010. According to BMW of North America, they submitted a voluntary recall to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) for a few models of BMW and Rolls-Royce cars or vehicles. These BMW Recall 2010 cars under recall are certain V8 and V12-powered models of Rolls-Royce and BMW vehicles. The BMW Recall 2010 was a bit similar to the problem in the Toyota Recall 2010 earlier this year.
Honda Recall 2010: Honda Recall on Civic, Elements and Accord Models for Interlock Ignition Problem
Honda Recall 2010 is ongoing once again. This is not the first Honda Recall this 2010, FYI. Back in January, Honda recalled a few hundreds of thousands of Honda Jazz / Honda Fit Model due to window switch defect. This time, the Honda Recall 2010 is about a defective ignition switch. If you own a car, you should know that the ignition interlock mechanism should not allow you to pull the key from the ignition switch if you car is in the Park position. For Honda Element 2003-2004, Honda Civic 2003 and Honda Accord 2003 models, this is not the case.
Honda Recall January 2010: Honda Recalls Jazz or Fit Models 2007-2008 for Window Switch Defect
Honda announced another safety recall on a specific model on January 29, 2010. Honda recalls all 2007 and 2008 models of Honda Jazz or Fit due to window switch defect. This is a separate case from the Honda Recall in August 2009 that was made on Civic and Accord models 2001-02 due to airbag defects. According to the vehicle manufacturing company’s press release, this January 2010 Honda recall affects the Fit or Jazz model only.
