Twitter Down Because It Is Under DDOS Attack and Still Not Working

Twitter is still down and we got worried a bit because of the reason – a DDOS attack. Twitter, being down this long is really bothersome. First a social network as huge and as popular as Twitter is not uncommon to be spammed. But a DDOS attack? Come on! Hackers really know their way around security holes and this is a terrible security issue. Read more

AT&T Blocks 4chan Website for Alleged DDOS Attack

News has it that AT&T blocked 4chan.org,  sources say. Publishers and webmasters have opposing views on the AT&T ban on 4chan. Others see the 4chan blocked site as offensive and deserves the ban. On the other hand, some view this as censorship. Techcrunch also posted an article about this explaining his view of the ban by AT&T also postulating that it could be due to DDOS attacks experienced by 4chan.org that propelled this move by the ISP. Secure Websites are Even Vulnerable to DDOS Attacks

Recent news on internet security reveals how vulnerable our online activities are, especially online transactions. This is because even teenagers can hack secure sites like the Church of Scientology website using DDOS attacks.
