Conficker Worm or Conflicker Worm: April 1st Computer Virus Threat
Is there any confusion in you between “Conficker Worm” and “Conflicker Worm”. The real name is Conficker, not Conflicker worm – a virus set to attack computers connected to the internet on April 1st (April Fool). If you are still confused, don’t be. The April 1 virus might already be lurking in your computers as you are reading this article. Just kidding 
60 Minutes Virus: Conficker C Worm in the Works
The Conficker C Worm or Conficker C Virus is presented in 60 minutes, a CBS show. The 60 Minutes virus discussion (video interview below) deals with the possible infection computer might experience on April Fool’s Day. According to the report of 60 minutes, the virus is being tracked by Symantec, a world leader in computer and internet security. The April 1st virus, 60 Minutes stated has been haunting internet users since November 2008.

Conficker C Worm aka April 1st Virus and April 1 Virus: Info and Removal Tool
The April 1st virus (aka Conficker C Worm and April 1 Virus) has been a threat since 2008, according to reliable sources. I have not actually experienced any Conficker C attack or threat firsthand. Maybe that’s because I always update my antivirus databases everyday. Yeah, that’s one way to prevent the Conficker C virus or April 1st Virus. Update your antivirus software virus databases daily and turn on the Windows Update ALWAYS. The Conficker C worm will exploit a Windows vulnerability called MS08-067. So far, no report has been made on its impact on computers running Linux especially Ubuntu 8.10 (this author’s personal favorite).
April 1st or April 1 Virus: Is It Real?
Online news has it that there is going to be a virus that will spread on April Fool’s Day (April 1, 2009). The April 1st virus attack news is in no way intended to scare anyone.
