Apple, Inc. released a new Terms of Service guideline for developers with a press release stating “”In particular, we are relaxing all restrictions on the development tools used to create iPhone apps, iPod Touch apps and iPad apps as long as the resulting apps do not download any code,” the statement reads. “This should give developers the flexibility they want, while preserving the security we need.”

The company has been vigilant to hide these technical details from curious customers. This policy is still enforced today for the iPhone 4. Apple has released iTunes 9.2 and is now available for download free via Software Update from your Mac computer or you can directly get it from their website. This free iTunes 9.2 upgrade arrives just a week before the official release of Apple’s iPhone iOS 4 and iPhone 4 (iPhone HD).
