New MacBook Air Models With no Intel Core i3 or Core i5 Processors
Steve Jobs’ one more revelation at the “Back to the Mac” event is the introduction of the all-new MacBook Air. Their ultra-thin notebook now comes with a smaller 11.6-inch sibling.
Macbook Air with NVIDIA GeForce 9400M Graphics Processor and Solid State Drive
I love the new Macbook Air released by Apple some time ago. It has this very sleek and classy look that every notebook lover would would dream of. The Macbook Air is insanely slim with only 0.76″ height. It’s installed with a fast NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor and a better Solid State Drive (SSD), all needed for demanding applications like 3D video games or MMORPG like World of Warcraft and Modern Warfare 2: Call of Duty 6. However, those who doesn’t love playing games with a small screen, the 13.3-inch diagonal display screen could be a turn off. In my case, I really don’t mind.
Macbook Features, Prices and Full Technical Specifications
As the battle of laptops/notebooks surges once more with the release of Macbook and Macbook Pro units, manufacturers of laptops are scrambling to make their products’ features attractive to the consumers. The Macbook and Macbook Pro features are not an exemption to this rule. The full technical specifications of the latest laptops from Apple are really impressive but some experts say Apple has put so much emphasis on physical features and sacrificed the overall functionality of the two notebooks priced at $1299 (Macbook) and $1999 (Macbook Pro). In the Philippines, those figures would mean that Macbook’s price is around PhP 62,000 and Macbook Pro’s Price is somewhere in the neighborhood of Php 95,000. The cost is still high for either of the two models for the common Filipino to buy in my view. The price or cost of the Macbook alone (PhP 62K) is enough to send a college student here to school for one year. For the affluent though, this amount is no big deal. ![]()
