This over the air Droid update 2.0.1 was scheduled for this December 2009. Droid update 2.0.1 is a necessary upgrade to appreciate some of the phone’s features better. The countdown on Verizon Wireless’ Droid Does web page is over at 12:00am of October 28, 2009. It is because Verizon Wireless is hosting a huge tech media conference to unleash the Droid Phone/Droid Phones. Yes! You heard it right folks. Verizon Wireless is about to unveil a series of Droid phones. The main phone to carry the name “Droid” is the Motorola Droid phone. Another Verizon Droid phone was mentioned as the Droid Eris by HTC.
