Largest Lake in Central America is Lake Nicaragua

The largest lake in Central America is lake Nicaragua with an area of 8,264 square kms, it is the largest lake in Central America, the 21st largest lake in the world (by area) and only slightly smaller than Lake Titicaca. With an elevation of 32 m (105 ft) above sea level, the lake reaches a depth of 26 m (84 ft). It is intermittently joined by the Tipitapa River to Lake Managua.

Good news to everyone who’s complaining about the cost of petroleum products and its harmful effects to the environment.  Fulcrum BioEnergy, Inc., today announced that it is advancing next-generation ethanol production with its plans to build one of the first commercial-scale production facilities for converting municipal solid waste to ethanol. The plant will process municipal solid waste-household garbage — revolutionizing waste disposal while creating a much needed low-cost, reliable and environmentally clean renewable transportation fuel. Alternative Fuels Being Developed to Curb Addiction to Oil Products

The price increases of petroleum products make the planet and the people sick. The world is addicted to oil and it’s high time alternative fuels for motor vehicles are developed for public consumption.

Gmanews.tv published an article which is very timely.  Here in the Philippines where oil prices go up between 50 centavos to 1 peso every two days, alternative fuels are must-haves for car owners like this writer.
