How to Use Twitter 101 for Personal Use and Business
Twitter 101 was launched by Twitter to serve as a guide for everyone – hobbyists, celebrities and most especially, business groups. We have to admit here that Twitter 101 is a very timely guide all “Twitters” like us. One thing that separates Twitter from other social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace, Multiply and Friendster is that it’s gaining a tremendous amount of popularity. Even Hollywood stars like Will.I.Am, Demi Moore and other big wigs use Twitter.
Twitting is fun. You can develop friendship or simply followers and you can even follow updates of websites and blogs that you love. However, Twitter, just like other social networks, is not free from spammers. Twitter 101 for Business discusses some good practices in using Twitter effectively in gaining more followers and developing loyalty among those followers, which is good for business.
If you haven’t tweeted yet, here’s a short description of the service,
Twitter is a communications platform that helps businesses and their customers do a number of useful things. As a business, you can use it to quickly share information with people interested in your company, gather real-time market intelligence and feedback, and build relationships with customers, partners and other people who care about your company. As an individual user, you can use Twitter to tell a company (or anyone else) that you’ve had a great–or disappointing–experience with their business, offer product ideas, and learn about great offers.
