Koobface Myspace and Facebook Worm Attacks Again
Koobface Virus, also known as Facebook Worm or Facebook Virus has resurfaced to attack Facebook and Myspace users. This Facebook worm, which has been a hot topic among Facebook and Myspace users worldwide in 2008 has obviously evolved into a much vicious worm. Allegedly, Facebook Worm poses itself as an application. If you ever run that “application” within your Facebook or Myspace account, then the Facebook Worm is in (and that would be a very bad news).
Facebook Worm Attacks Facebook and Myspace Accounts
We have discussed ways on how to remove Koobface Virus before. We all thought here that after using the tools and doing the routines needed in cleaning up this Facebook Worm, it will go away just like any virus we usually find in our hard drives. We were terribly wrong. Facebook Worm once again found its way into the social networks mentioned above so beware Facebook and Myspace users. Don’t accept or execute any application in your. This will trigger the Facebook worm. We don’t want our personal information (as well as our friends’ information) stolen, do we? Just be careful with these worms and viruses. These are some of the reasons why we don’t open our Facebook or Myspace accounts regularly. These malicious worms are harmful and we just kept wondering why Facebook and Myspace, two of the most popular and largest social networks on the internet, have obviously failed in handling Facebook Worm.
