NASA’s Atlantis Shuttle launch today stirred the curiosity of science lovers. The Live Shuttle Launch coverage was a huge event among journalists, media men and enthusiast. The scheduled shuttle launch today was captured in video (shown below) and even from a distance of around 500 meters, the Sonic Boom was heard. According to NASA, “The space shuttle launch seemed to go perfectly. Only three small pieces of foam insulation were spotted coming off the fuel tank, too late to be of any concern“, said Bill Gerstenmaier, head of NASA’s space operations.
