If you have a Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional editions, you could now upgrade your OS to Windows 7 Ultimate, the top version of the latest desktop PC operating system from Microsoft. The team behind Google Chrome OS (as I write this) could be doing some improvements on Google’s very own OS designed to compete with Windows 7. Who knows? :-)

Now, let’s get down to the Windows 7 upgrade (for sale, not free, mind you) that is available for those who have purchased the Home Premium and Professional editions. At present, the price ranges posted on Amazon are as follows

  • Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, Upgrade Edition for XP or Vista users (PC DVD) – £153.18
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, Full Version (PC DVD) – £159.99

Both these items are delivered free in the UK only. In the US, these are the prices for these Microsoft products:

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Full Version DVD – $319.99
