Microsoft Windows 7 Family Pack Upgrade to Home Premium Price: Too High or Just Fair?
Do you think Microsoft Windows 7 Family Pack price is too high? For us, the answer is not really. That’s our personal evaluation of the prices Microsoft announced a few months ago. The Family Pack version of Windows 7 is priced at $149.95 when it was first introduced to the public. In fact, MS inadvertently confirmed that the price and availability of Windows 7 family pack upgrade DVD ROM by referencing it in the licensing terms of a test version of Windows 7 RC2 that leaked onto the Internet.
The family pack priced at $149.95 sold on Amazon will allow users to upgrade up to three desktop or notebook computers to the Home Premium edition of Windows 7 from Windows XP or Windows Vista. To clarify further, this family pack is simply an upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Premium and/or from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium. We hope that’s clear to everyone.
