Champions Online Game Review: One Fantastic MMORPG
First thing you will notice with Champions Online is its great marvel comics-inspired graphics. It’s the best execution of cel-shading art I ever have seen so far. All visuals, characters, environments come out rendered with thick black stroke lines. I can’t help but feel I am inside a comic’s page when playing Champions online. Some gamers might despise it so you have the option to turn it off.

Right from the moment you log in to Champions online, you will be compelled to create your mutant superhero. The personalization options are mind-boogling. I spent more than 2 hours just mix and matching looks, costumes, weapons, etc… I tried making a horsefaced man with wings and wielding two Katanas but then I changed my mind, I created another one that looks like a pig with horns and a superman cape which was ugly so I decided to scrap it. I made a third attempt and it looked like bill gates but is bald and has beer belly. I put him in a Scottish skirt and windows7 T-shirt. His main power will be laser blasts from his nose and toxic breath from his mouth. Seriously, if you don’t want to waste so much time making up your Champions Online hero, you can just do full randomization.

Next thing you will need to personalize is your hero’s powers. Mine was easy, laser from nose, deadly breath from mouth. You can choose your own power template but be prepared to be deluged with other paths of power. Champions Online doesn’t restrict you to a particular build or a bunch of powers. You can learn any powers or skills as you level up. There are almost limitless options for you to try a unique superhero. This game is superior to any MMORPG out term in terms of customization.
I cannot elaborate more about this game because I am still a mid-level player. I haven’t leveled up recently because I was oogling the girls in sexy tight costumes. I spend most of the time discussing strategies with other players. I wanted to kill monsters and villains but it was not as fun as talking sexy to a voluptuous girl with 2 heads and 4 hands.
