After a while, we have read user reviews of Kin mobile phones pointing out its weaknesses – high price, sluggish, lacks microSD slot, etc. etc.
Now, to attract new buyers, Verizon Wireless is offering the Kin One and Kin Two to customers in the US for low, low prices. The breakdown are as follows (contract-free plans):
- Microsoft Kin One Phone Price – $120
- Microsoft Kin Two Phone Price – $220
For the standard two-year contracts, Kin One can be had for $20 per month and Kin two, $50/month.
Not a bad deal? The weak specs and features of Microsoft’s Kin One and Kin Two smartphones could disappoint you even more. The two models will no longer have these features: Kin Loop, Kin Spot and Kin Studio.
These mean that you can no longer do social networking on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and WIndows Live. At least not with these old free apps installed on these devices. You still can do so using the built-in web browser of the two Microsoft phones. There goes the price cuts.
