Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Release Date
Firefox 3.5 release date was reported to be on June 30. If things go according to plan, the release date of Firefox 3.5 will proceed as scheduled. The question now is, “Will Firefox 3.5 be a better browser?” We certainly hope so because there are some things that we do not like about Firefox. For one, it crashes often (ver 3.0.11) and it’s frustrating, really. Imagine you have opened 50 tabs or so then suddenly you’re notified that Firefox has crashed. This has happened to us not once but countless of times since we have installed Firefox on this machine.
We have also experienced some abnormal behavior of Firefox in the past like tabs not restored after restarting the browser (which is needed in online research), sudden shutting down of Windows, etc. With Firefox 3.5, we hope this can be improved. Security improvements are also highly needed as many have complained about the vulnerabilities of Firefox. If it continues to become vulnerable, then users might switch to other top browsers like Safari 4 or Google Chrome.

This has happened to me on a daily basis! I really hope they come up with a version that doesn’t crash as often…but until then I’ll keep using it. I love everything else about it – bookmarking, different toolbars, and you can even change the “skin” screen color and design now.
