Download New Apple Safari 4 Beta Free
You can now download Apple Safari 4 Beta for free. I just did download Safari 4 and the Beta version is really a lot better than Safari 3. I have seen some very impressive new features of Safari 4 Beta. It loads pages faster and automatically starts a new session featuring top sites on the internet like Google Maps, Wikipedia, Yahoo, Apple.com, Youtube, etc. (see photo of Safari 4 Beta welcome screen).

You can download safari 4 Beta from this address: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/. Also, some sites that I cannot open properly with the older Safari 3 now loads perfectly well. I have encountered these types of problem in the older version especially with site which embedded flash objects in them. But with Safari 4 Beta I just downloaded, those sites are now loading fast and properly. Safari 4 plugins must have been developed to address issues or bugs found in Safari 3.
The executable file of Safari 4 Beta is only 25.5MB but I do not know at the moment how much disk space it will consume when it’s installed in your hard drive. I did’nt bother to look at the disk space needed for the installation because I have more 300GB of free hard disk space in my computer.
This new development in Safari 4 could spell some trouble for Firefox and Google Chrome. Not only is Safari 4 Beta compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems. It can also be used in handheld devices like iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. If Apple can keep up with user demands for a good web browser, Safari 4 could dominate the market even if it’s still in the Beta stage of development.

I totally agree. Safari 4 is so far the best browser there is. It’s fast, and can handle pages with javascripts and flash which cannot be handled well by other browsers like Flock, IE, Firefox and Opera. I hope to see more feature updates to Safari 4. There’s much work to be done but so far, so good.
