    ive just downloaded the new 5.0 bb messenger , and it keeps saying Registration failed, and due to this i cant use all its features. Please help i don’t know what to do.

    @maz,
    I had the same problem this week when i got my new blackberry. you have to go to “options” then “time/date” then change the “date/time source” either off or network, mine was set to blackberry before, then you go back to your profile on bbm and scroll to the bottom of it and click rety where it says blackberry failed to register. and it should work!

    I changed mine to off because i dont have a network option but it didn’t work. How do i find my network date/time to change it to that date/time source?

    how can i get my contact display pictures to show up? my display pic shows up under my profile on my phone but it wont show up on my friends phone

    I have the same problem above, i changed it to ‘off’ i turned my phone off and on and the registration failed didnt appear anymore. The only problem is that my blackberry contacts pictures dont show, and mine doesnt show on theirs. How can i resolve this?

    Same problem here, setting it to off and reset it didnt help.. Now what 2 do? reinstalling the messenger also didnt work. grtz. plz help

    i dnt get any options such as “date/time source” but i do get an option of “use network time” and i hav set it to “NO” but then too i hav a prob of my bbm 5.0 registration i hav tried rebooting also it din help n i also hav d latest version of bbm 5.. everything else is also fine no browsing prob nothin.. i hav Blackberry bold 2 dat is Blackberry 9700 just bought it 2 days back.. pls help..
