Firefox 3.5.2 Errors, Bugs and Crash Reports

Date Published: August 22, 2009

We have discussed not so long ago about some problems with Mozilla Firefox and how it made our browsing lives more difficult. The Firefox 3.5.2 upgrade didn’t fall off far from the javascript errors we have experienced with Firefox 3.5.1, sorry FF fans.

Mozilla Firefox 3.5.2 Crash Report

We have received at least a dozen of these Firefox 3.5.2 errors, bug and crash reports since we updated our Firefox version to 3.5.2 (photo of the report shown above). We were even enthusiastic to do the upgrade since we have been using Firefox for many years now and  hoping to see some bug fixes but nahhhh! It still has bugs the developers have not addressed up to this time.

Here is the sample crash report while we were shopping on Ebay for some pistol holsters:

For Internet Explorer 8, we have not yet tested it fully well as of this writing. We’d like to state here that we love FF more than IE8. We have our biases also because of our prior experiences with these browsers.

I’ve never had problems with Firefox, but this new version is terrible. I am running 3.5.2 on Vista 64-bit, and Firefox crashes at least once every time I sit down to use it. And that “Well, this is embarrassing…” message after relaunching the browser is getting really annoying.

Oh, and the frequency of crashes is pushing me back to using IE, which is not something I want to do.
