Home Antivirus 2010 Removal Method Using SuperAntiSpyware

The Home Antivirus 2010 is an annoying program giving its users false alerts or false positives. It will popup messages like “Your system was found to be infected with intercepting program. These can log your activity and damage your privacy. Click here for Home Antivirus 2010 spyware removal.” Nag screens keep, well… nagging users which alerts them of a “fake infection”.

Home Antivirus 2010 is categorically a malware. It shows fake alerts and all sorts of “detected” problems forcing those who have installed it onto their machine that really pisses off many “victims”. How to uninstall Home Antivirus 2010 is outlined below.

Here’s a short method on how to remove Home Antivirus 2010 using Avenger and SuperAntiSpyware (a nice tool we’ve been using for 2+ years now).

1) Download Avenger and unzip to your desktop. Run Avenger to make sure that it Scans for rootkits.

2) Automatically disable any rootkits found both are checked. Copy and paste the following text in Input script Box

Folders to delete

%ProgramFiles%HomeAntivirus2010

3) Click on Execute.

4) Now you will be asked Are you sure you want to execute the current script? Click on Yes to execute the script.

5) Reboot your computer.

Now use SuperAntiSpyware to check for the presence of Spyware/Malware. Home Antivirus 2010 removal will be completed once these steps are taken:
