Conficker Worm or Conflicker Worm: April 1st Computer Virus Threat

Is there any confusion in you between “Conficker Worm” and “Conflicker Worm”. The real name is Conficker, not Conflicker worm – a virus set to attack computers connected to the internet on April 1st (April Fool). If you are still confused, don’t be. The April 1 virus might already be lurking in your computers as you are reading this article. Just kidding :-)

But hey, don’t get scared by the Conficker Virus threat (also known to some as “Conflicker Worm” up to this moment). By now you should have downloaded the latest Microsoft Patch – one that updates your Windows security settings – the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal tool to parry any possible attack of this virulent program. It’s free to download from the Microsoft website. After installing and running it in your computer, you can be sure this computer virus can be prevented from conveniently invading your Windows-based systems and steal all the info about your, your roommate, housemate, live-in partner, and everybody who has used that computer unit you’re on right now. Yeah, that’s how devastating this April 1st virus can be. It sad how people behind it can be this mean to everyone. Is this the new way of proving intelligence and computer genius? I don’t know. If yes, I strongly disagree.

Act now and do something to prevent the Conflicker Worm (sorry, just joking with the name). It’s quite easy how to prevent the April 1st Virus. It’s almost time, it’s almost April Fool’s Day so get you mice clicking and start updating your antivirus DBs and use the patch provided by Microsoft. Bear in mind that “an ounce of prevention is always better than a pound of cure”.  At the moment, the April 1st virus prevention is one those that truly need the highest level of priority among internet users and computer owners.
