iPad Wi-Fi Problems: Apple Acknowledges iPad Tablet PC Wi-Fi Issues
iPad Wi-Fi Problems came up after the Apple iPad Tablet PC was released in April 3, 2010. Complaints of the iPad not being able to connect to a Wi-Fi went a buzz through customer reviews and it is not looking good for the new Tablet PC. Apple acknowledged the problems or issues.
Apple iPad Tablet PC with Wi-Fi
The Apple iPad Wi-Fi problems are of different origins. The causes and symptoms of such problems are discussed below.
According to Apple, the iPad does not automatically rejoin known Wi-Fi networks after restart or waking from sleep. Apple iPad Wi-Fi problems may occur with some third-party Wi-Fi routers that are dual-band capable such as when using different security settings for each network or using the same network name for each network.
Other Apple iPad Wi-Fi problems or issues may be caused by the following:
- Unable to locate a nearby Wi-Fi network
- Weak or low Wi-Fi signal strength
- Unable to access the Internet
After confirming the Apple iPad Tablet PC Wi-Fi connectivity issues, Apple immediately addressed these problems by providing resolutions. How to troubleshoot or fix these iPad Wi-Fi problems will be posted on a separate article.
