How to Troubleshoot iPad Wi-Fi Issues: Apple iPad Wi-Fi Problem Solutions
The iPad Wi-Fi Problems were confirmed by Apple and the company provided solutions as soon as possible. Apple’s support system gave steps on how to troubleshoot issues on Wi-Fi networks and connections. Possible iPad Wi-Fi problem solutions are provided below.
If your Apple iPad Tablet PC was unable to automatically rejoin known Wi-Fi networks, here is what you must do:
- Create separate Wi-Fi network names to identify each band. This can be done easily by appending one or more characters to the current network name. (Example: Add a G to the 802.11b/g network name and an N to the 802.11n network name.)
- Ensure that both networks use the same security type (WEP, WPA, WPA2, and so on)
- If the issue persists, reset your network settings using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
For those whose iPad Wi-Fi problem is being unable to locate a nearby Wi-Fi network, here are steps to resolve the issue:
- Move closer to the Wi-Fi router or hotspot.
- If you are using a personal Wi-Fi network, verify the Wi-Fi router is connected to power and turned on.
- Wi-Fi networks configured as “closed” or “private” do not broadcast the network name to Wi-Fi devices. (Join a “closed” or “private” network by tapping Settings > Wi-Fi > Other and entering the Wi-Fi network name, security, and password.)
These iPad Wi-Fi problem solutions or troubleshooting steps worked according to some Apple iPad users. If these Apple iPad Wi-Fi problem solutions did not work for you, other troubleshooting steps are found on Apple’s iPad support.
