Wow, this news should make all buyers in the US very happy. Amazon is now selling a very cheap 1GHz Samsung S5PV210 ARM Cortex A8 – powered tablet. Coby, famous for making cheap but good quality electronic items, is now selling their Coby Kyros MID7024 Android OS 2.2 Froyo Tablet PC on Amazon. One vendor is selling it for as low as $173.95 inclusive of shipping! This cheap price is terribly enticing, in my opinion.
Finally, 1 GHz Android 2.2 tablet is selling for less than $200 at Amazon. Poor Americans can now buy the Coby Kyros MID7024!
The Coby Kyros MID7024 Android 2.2 Tablet has a 7-inch resistive touchscreen. Yes it’s not capacitive so it’s one reason why it is cheap. But nevertheless, this tablet’s 1GHz Samsung processor and 512MB of RAM makes it as fast as the famous Samsung Galaxy Tab! Plus it has its own 3D graphics accelerator, the Power SGX540 which is OpenGL ES1.1 compliant. All the latest Android games will run on this tablet smoothly!
This affordable tablet has the usual WiFi b/g connectivity. While Coby Electronics has not yet confirmed it, I bet this tablet can also support Huawei 3G USB mobile routers. As an entertainment tool, the Coby Kyros MID7024 excels due to its high speed processor and huge amount of RAM. It can play any music or video format. Furthermore, it’s the cheapest tablet I know that can playback and output to HDMI both 720p and full HD 1080p movies!
It comes with a front-facing camera too and has a decent 4GB of built-in flash storage.The only disappointment I could say about the Coby Kyros MID7024 is that it ships without a preinstalled Android Market or Gmail. Instead of the official Google Store, users of this tablet will have to get their apps and games from the AppsLib Marketplace.
