The previous post provided the features, technical specifications and price of Samsung 2443BWX 24” LCD Monitor. Now, here are the pros and cons of the 2443BWX LCD monitor by Samsung.
Samsung 2443BWX LCD Monitor Review: The Samsung SyncMaster 2443BWX 24″ LCD Display is an excellent monitor for gaming and general use. With its 1920 x 1200 resolution, it delivers very nice picture quality for web browsing, video, and newsgroup browsing without the blurs. There are no dead or stuck pixels. Other nice feature of the Samsung 2443BWX 24” LCD Monitor is that it is lightweight for such screen size. The vertical tilt works just fine, too.

According to a customer review, one more advantage of the Samsung SyncMaster 2443BWX 24-inch LCD monitor is that it works with Linux – in Kubuntu 8.04 with the Nvidia closed source driver (version 169.12).
Now, here are the cons or disadvantages. The Samsung 2443BWX 24” LCD monitor has no height adjustment capability and no USB ports unlike the Samsung 2443BW. One review said the On Screen Display control buttons were visually cute but not all that practical. Also this LCD screen has typical issues like limited viewing angle. Another setback stated by a customer is that the “Magic” software does not work with all video cards.
Bottom-line: The Samsung SyncMaster 2443BWX 24″ LCD display has some setbacks but is still a great monitor if set up properly. Most importantly, it is a wide screen monitor which comes at a low price.
