NVidia KFA2 GeForce GTX460 Wireless Graphics Card for Serious Gamers
NVidia has came up with another brilliant idea with the release of what might the world’s first and only wireless graphics accelerator card. The NVidia KFA2 GeForce GTX460 is a 1GB graphics accelerator that offers support for wireless connectivity to distant monitors or HDTV display.
Nvidia one-ups ATI once more. They just debut the world's first wireless graphics card accelerator!
The KFA2 GeForce GTX460 is both Nvidia SLI and DirectX 11-compliant. It is also compatible with PCI Express 2.0 and OpenGL 3.0. This card is no wimp, Nvidia put 336 cores to it so you can play even the most graphics-intensive game out there right now.
This powerful graphics card is using AMIMON’s WHDI technology. Those antennae will transmit real-time 3D and HD graphics processing to a remote display. This should be a boon to owners of laptops and tablet computers who doesn’t have dedicated graphics processor units.
The KFA2 GeForce GTX460 only requires you to have a PCie 2.0-compliant motherboard to take advantage of its wireless capabilities. Price is yet to be announced but hopefully, NVidia will not price it out of most gamers’ range.
