New iMac Released: Apple iMac 2010 All-in-One Desktop PC Features and Price

Apple updated its line of iMac All-in-One Desktop Computer. The New iMac line was released on July 27, 2010. Apple was obviously not contented of its best desktop computers, so they upgraded the iMac 2009 computer’s technical specifications to ensure better performance. The New iMac was designed to be recyclable, energy efficient and free of harmful toxins such as Mercury and Arsenic. Like the Toshiba Satellite L655-S5078 Laptop, Apple’s iMac 2010 All-in-One Desktop PC also achieved the EPEAT Gold status for being environment friendly.

New Apple iMac All-in-One Desktop Computer

The Apple iMac 2010 All-in-One Desktop Computer has two display sizes – the 21.5-inch and 27-inch Apple iMac. Apple has upgraded the iMac processors to Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 (dual core and quad core processor). The new iMac by Apple has the fastest processors ever. It has dual core processors speed up to 3.6 GHz while quad core processors speed up to 2.93 GHz.

Here are four configurations of the New Apple iMac 2010 All-in-One Desktop Computer with their prices:

  • iMac 21.5″ HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution, 3.06GHz Intel Core i3, 4GB (two 2GB) memory, 500GB hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive, ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 256MB: $1,199.00
  • iMac 21.5″ HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution, 3.2GHz Intel Core i3, 4GB (two 2GB) memory, 1TB hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive, ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB: $1,499.00
  • iMac 27″ HD 2560×1440 pixel resolution, 3.2GHz Intel Core i3, 4GB (two 2GB) memory, 1TB hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive, ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB: $1,699.00
  • iMac 27″ HD 2560×1440 pixel resolution, 2.8GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB (two 2GB) memory, 1TB hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive, ATI Radeon HD 5750 with 1GB: $1,999.00

All of the above New iMac models can be purchased on Apple Store and are shipped for free. Other than the above mentioned configurations, the New Apple iMac 2010 All-in-One desktop computers can also come with faster processors such as the Intel Core i7 and larger hard drives up to 2TB HDD.
