I hope you can help me.My Acer Aspire PC AM3100-UD5200A 5200 + AMD 64X2 Athion Processor. It was working before this one evening. It disconneted from my dial up connection. It has not hooked up to the Internet (dial up) since then. I took it to the store where I got my computer. They hooked it up to the dial up connection and it hooked up!! Why can’t It hook up here at home? This has been going on for over a year.The telephone guy checked the line outside and inside. He said everything checked out just fine. I just have a feeling it’s just some little thing that’s preventing my computer from hooking up. I just don’t understand how it was connected then it wasn’t and it hasn’t hooked here at home since that day.
