Earth Hour 2009 and Beyond
Earth Hour 2009 is this year’s move to help the planet “breathe” a little from all pollution caused by electronic equipment. Support Earth Hour this 2009 to help protect the environment. Why do you need to support Earth Hour 2009? Here are a few reasons:
Homes account for more than half of the planet’s heat and carbon emissions. With our participation in Earth Hour 2009, we’re making some minute changes to save the planet. In the past, people have always ignored the importance of unplugging electronic devices and home appliances. Oh yeah, we just leave the TV set on standby mode, the refrigerator on, the air-conditioners constantly running even when there’s no one in the room and our computers on stand by. These things when summed up all contribute to additional heat production in the environment and that’s not very friendly to us and everything around us. Global warming is a dangerous thing. Let’s all do something even in small ways to fight it.
On Earth Hour 2009 (March 28, 8:30-9:30 PM), we encourage our readers to turn off all electrical appliances and turn all lights out during that time. One Hour. that’s all it takes to show that we care. Earth Hour 2009. Mark it on your calendar and spread the word. Help save the dying earth this 2009 and please do it beyond 2009.
