Smart Power Strip Device to Help Cut Electric Consumption
The US, China and European Union are some of the places on earth that need smart power strip devices to cut down their power consumption. Smart power strip tools like the Smart Strip LCG3 would be a great addition to existing home tools. And hey, this energy saving device really can help cut your bills on electricity. It’s also environment-friendly as it helps reduce carbon footprints.

The LCG3 smart power strip is a surge protector in essence. It provides a safe and uninterrupted power supply to your appliances. The manufacturer of this product also claims that it has the ability to auto-switch devices (like laptops, refrigerators, TV sets, and other high-tech gadgets) on and off to save energy. We have used a similar product like this before but it’s China-made. The quality of China-made smart power strip tools are definitely below par, to be honest. Sorry but this is true. They get damaged easily because they’re made of cheap, low-quality materials mostly made out of plastic.
However, for the LCG3 smart power strip, our impression is good. Unlike other energy saving devices we’ve tried, this product “uses less than one watt of power when fully energized, offers an EMI/RFI filter and 15 AMP circuit breaker“. The best feature of this tool in our opinion is it “delivers 2225-joule and 84,000 AMP protection” – something that those with background on electronics will appreciate. On Amazon, its price a little higher than $35 and so we’re buying it to test it particularly in stripping our growing power consumption. Why are we interested in this? Simple. Like many online publishers, we do not turn off our computers at home and in our office. We have decided to buy a smart product that will strip some power in the devices we do not turn off (intentionally).
On the other hand, we are somewhat apprehensive to get this product we’ve read some negative reviews of LCG3 smart power strip. We will publish our own review when we’ve tried this stuff ourselves and tell you all about it if we’re satisfied or not. Go green and start saving energy!
