Google Mars in Google Earth 5: For Mars Lovers and Students
Google Mars is an integral part of the Google Earth 5 released by the Google team in February 2009. Mars explorers must love Google Earth for this new feature
. Mars explorers or not, Google Mars is definitely a good feature you might just want to use more often as it highlights photos of Mars never before seen anywhere by common internet users like this author.
For more info on Google Mars, watch this video and learn more about the new stunning features this tool.
Corollary to this, Google Mars photos are given below (sample photos taken from the Google Mars webpage and my Google Earth 5.0 screenshot)
- Google Mars in Visible View
- Google Mars (Elevation View)
- Sample Photo of Google Mars in Goole Earth 5.0 Desktop Version
The loading of the Google Mars webpage can take some time in slow computers. Google Mars maps take a while before individual photos come together as one big image so don’t rush if you see photos of Google Mars to be garbled at first. Just let the photos load. In Google Earth (desktop edition), what I love about it is the up-to-date photos of Mars. Google has really done something amazing with this stuff (click on sample images above to enlarge).
